How do you wish to say goodbye?

There are so many ways to make saying goodbye personal, from photography, live music, even our staff wearing a favourite colour personal to your loved one. If you choose to appoint us to take care of the arrangements, we will arrange a mutually convenient time to meet and discuss the arrangements in finer detail. If you wish, we will meet you in the comfort and familiar surroundings of your own home, however if preferred you are always welcome to arrange this meeting at our funeral home.

We will work with you to determine the type of funeral service that is most fitting for your loved one , whether that be religious, non-religious, traditional or a simple direct cremation.

Funeral services and celebrations of life can take place in various locations including
church, crematoria, cemeteries or perhaps our own Chapel of rest for those who would prefer a more intimate setting with greater flexibility.

Although we are based in Accrington, we often undertake funerals outside of the area and have great experience working in many other crematoriums and cemetery’s local to the North West, such as Pleasington Crematorium, Burnley Crematorium, Charnock Richard Crematorium. 

We are here to talk you through the different options in as much or as little detail as you wish. There are many different styles, traditional wood vaneer, wicker, cardboard, hand painted, The choice is always yours.

Wood Veneered coffins are a favoured choice for many families, offering a handsome wood finish and greater strength than other popular materials.

The vast majority of families choose a traditional cortege of a modern hearse and limousine to convey their loved one and immediate mourners to the funeral venue. However should you wish an alternative way to honour your loved one we can provide horse and carriage and other unusual modes of transport including motorcycle, Land Rover and even a truck.

Once you have made your decision, we can then discuss the route you would like to take on the day of the funeral. Passing memorable places special to your loved, a work place, a football ground or simply straight to the Crematorium.

Unable to say your goodbyes due to illness or location, has become a thing of the past.
Live streaming of the funeral in the crematorium has become the norm for many families ensuring everyone is able to say their goodbyes. If you wish for the funeral to be photographed or video recorded, this can be arranged. Please let the funeral arranger know when organising your loved ones funeral.

Our private chapel is intimate and inviting, with a custom stained glass window. Jenson’s also has plenty of comfortable and private areas for you to gather your thoughts, consider your planning options, and compose yourself if needed. Small services with up to 10 people can also be arrange at our chapel, for a more personal touch. Ask the team for more information on this.
